A magical bedtime story about a little girl who learns to count while watching the stars.

Luna was a curious little girl who loved the night sky. Every evening, she would look out her window to see the moon and stars. One starry night, Luna's daddy asked, 'Can you count the stars with me, Luna?' Luna nodded excitedly. She loved learning new things. Her daddy pointed to the bright moon. 'Let's start with one big moon,' he said. Luna held up one finger and said, 'One!' The moon smiled down at her, glowing silver and bright in the dark sky. Luna felt happy learning her first number.

Luna and her daddy counted more stars. 'Two twinkling stars,' said daddy, pointing to two bright stars near the moon. Luna held up two fingers and said, 'Two!' Then they found three stars in a triangle shape. 'Three stars in a row,' said Luna, showing three fingers. They counted four stars making a square. Four fingers went up! Luna laughed with joy. 'Five little stars!' she shouted, finding five small stars in a line. Luna was learning to count, and each number was fun. Daddy hugged Luna and said, 'You're doing so well, my little star counter.'

The stars kept twinkling, but Luna was getting sleepy. She and her daddy counted six, seven, eight, nine, and ten more stars. Luna's eyes started to close, but she kept counting quietly. 'One, two, three...' she whispered. The stars seemed to be counting with her, blinking softly. Daddy covered Luna with her warm blanket. 'Goodnight, my little star,' he said softly. Luna fell asleep dreaming about numbers and stars, counting in her dreams. The night sky kept watch over her, filled with all the beautiful stars she had learned to count. Tomorrow, Luna would learn to count even more things in her wonderful world.
