She hopped to her garden and dug a small hole in the soft dirt. She carefully placed the seed inside and covered it with soil. Rosie watered the seed every day. 'Grow, little seed, grow!' she said each morning. Rosie wanted to see a big carrot right away, but nothing happened for a whole week. She felt a little impatient.
Chapter 2: Waiting and Watching
Days went by, and Rosie kept taking care of her seed. She watered it gently and made sure it got enough sunshine. Finally, after two weeks, a tiny green sprout poked out of the soil! 'It's growing!' Rosie jumped with joy. But the carrot was still very small. Rosie had to keep waiting. Her friends asked, 'Is your carrot ready yet?' Rosie would say, 'Not yet. I need to be patient.' She learned that good things take time. Every day, Rosie visited her carrot and talked to it. 'Keep growing, little carrot,' she whispered. She was learning that waiting is part of making wonderful things happen.

After many weeks of waiting and caring, the day finally came. Rosie saw a big, bright orange carrot top sticking out of the soil! She carefully pulled the carrot out of the ground. It was huge and beautiful! 'I did it!' Rosie cheered. All her patience had paid off. Grandma was so proud of Rosie. 'You learned to wait and take good care of something,' she said. Rosie shared her big carrot with her family. It tasted delicious because she had worked so hard for it. Rosie fell asleep that night feeling very proud.
