A sweet story about a little boy who learns the joy of sharing his favorite teddy bear with a friend.

Tommy was a little boy with curly hair and a big smile. He had a very special friend named Teddy. Teddy was a soft brown teddy bear with a red bowtie. Tommy loved Teddy very much. He took Teddy everywhere - to the grocery store, to the park, and especially to bed at night. Teddy always listened to Tommy's stories and gave the best hugs. They were the best of friends.

One day, Tommy's friend Mia came over to play. Mia had never met Teddy before. She saw Teddy sitting on the shelf and her eyes got big. 'Can I play with Teddy?' she asked sweetly. Tommy felt worried in his tummy. Teddy was HIS special bear. What if Mia was too rough with him? What if Teddy got dirty or lost? Tommy wanted to say no, but he saw how much Mia wanted to play with his bear.

Tommy's mommy knelt down beside him. 'Tommy,' she said gently, 'sharing is kind. When you share Teddy, Mia can see how special he is too. And then Teddy can make TWO friends happy instead of just one.' Tommy thought about this. He wanted Mia to be happy. He also wanted Teddy to have more friends. Slowly, Tommy took Teddy down and gave him to Mia. 'You can play with him,' Tommy said, feeling brave.

Mia was so happy! She hugged Teddy carefully and they all played together. Tommy, Mia, and Teddy had a wonderful time. They played hide and seek and had a tea party. Tommy felt warm inside his heart. Sharing Teddy didn't take anything away - it made everything better! When it was time for Mia to go, she gave Teddy back carefully. 'Thank you, Tommy,' she said. Tommy smiled. He learned that sharing made everyone happy, especially him and Teddy. The end.
